Public medical benefits ONLY offer coverage for eye exams, NOT GLASSES. Since 2007, these benefits stopped covering materials for adults over the age of twenty. Children's benefits have also experienced drastic cuts to their vision coverage. Vision is a FUNDAMENTAL PART OF OUR DAILY LIVING. This tragic gap in coverage has created a great need in our community.

Just as we can accomplish at Project Homeless Connect - The SEE Program provides prescription eyewear year-round for people that cannot afford their glasses. Qualifying individuals can receive their eyewear at raw material cost, offering an affordable option to people that need this opportunity. Please call for more information.
